I personally prefer to drive none of the options listed.
The braking, handling and steering of either my Ranger or F350 is rather woeful compared to my car or ute. Not to mention things like performance.
I will drive my car thanks!!!
However I do own a truck, so I ticked that box...
I prefer to drive the only thing I own.. my 4 wheel drive Bronco II with a 4" lift and 31" tires on there. That's why I checked the SUV button. I currently get around 12 mpg. Another part of it that brings me joy is the sound system I'm installing in there (so far I'm going all Eclipse) and it sounds pretty good .
MY suv of course, Mr Birdy. Unless the parents have borrowed it then I'm stuck with my car or Dad's ranger. That usually means I will wait for my suv to get back.
I have own all 3 also! I now drive a truck (the Ford) and a Chev... but I owned an Isuzu trooper and liked it very well and If I did not need a truck I would have another trooper! But I also had a 1997 Chrystler Town and country Van and If I did not need 4wd to get out of the "woods". I would get another Toen and country!
I drive a truck(F-150) and my girlfriend has an suv(Nissan). I much prefer my truck over the Xterra and she says she would rather drive my truck than her suv.
I'm with BigF350 on this one. While we currently own a truck, the BMW is much preferred for driving, unless there is snow that is. Having owned several vans, Dodge, Ford and VW, I hate to drive them with the akward seating position and steering wheel angles.
Another vote for BigF350. I have a truck for when I need a truck, but for most driving, we take one of the cars. Don't own a van or SUV right now and no particular plans to.
Just as a note, after I had a knee replaced and then broke my neck (gettin' old aint for the faint of heart), it is much easier getting into and out of a truck than a car. I sold a 2000 Impala LS and 1996 T-Bird because getting in and out was too much trouble. Pick up trucks are good for me, anyway!
Ill never own another car, I have had a couple, but just dont like sitting on the ground anymore. Since I just sold my Ram this is the first time since I got my license I dont own a Mopar and first time since I was 18 I dont have a truck. I like the big SUV"s and love my XXL Suv. If I need a truck now, I just go over and borrow my dad's 6oh F350 CC Dually.
there is a real image problem for me with driving a mini van, and im from an area where suv stands for stupid usless vehicle, so I'll stick with my trucks. I've owed six vehicles in my lifetime everyone of them is a truck.
I currently drive a Lincoln Town Car. And i'll say this much, i cannot wait to get the truck going again. Sitting so low to the ground, not having a full 8 foot box behind the cab, no real towing capacity (I do have to admit though, the TC does have a Class II hitch under it.) Is really starting to wear on my nerves. Besides the truck makes a better platform for customizing, and if i hack something up, its just a truck. The car on the other hand, i'd be mortified...thats the thing to be seen in when i'm out on the town, the truck is well just my toy.
Besides all that, i'm a lot more comfortable getting in and out of the truck, as i did some damage to my knee a while back. Still gives me fits occasionally.
