2000 ranger paint question
hi, i have a 2000 ranger supercab and i have a nasty *** paint job... i was wondering how much it would be for me to get a new paintjob with a diff color, i want ford blue with white racing stripes... just like the mustangs have... i know it will prolly look dumb, but as for my current paint job, i dont even bother to wash it because its so nasty...
i wish it would just hail on the damn truck and ruin my paint so insurance would cover it...

Check the weather reports and head out to an area with a hail storm and park your truck. To do a color change and add racing stripes will most likely be quite pricey at a place using upper lines of base/clear. It is a lot of extra work doing a color change. Probably in the 3 grand range but all places very in price and some regions have a lower labor rate then others. Add more for bodywork since you said it was in nasty shape. Another issue may be finding a shop that will take the work. Many do strictly collison repairs because thats were the money is.
