One more note about the pictured badges....they are 2005 SD badges. Earlier trucks used a different one. I had ordered a pair of the older versions, then saw these. (One of them wound up on the back of my dad's Taurus wagon!)

Nice looking X...glad to see you got a new one...I remember back 2-3 years ago when I first found these types of forums, you and some other guys were a big source of info. for me...thanks to you I now have 2 highly modified Fords (2002 X and a 2004 SD) and no $$$ in the bank

Thanks for the info on the badges guys. Those look really nice. Only problem is, I tried putting one of those metal university emblems on the back of mine and my wife told me to not put anything on "her" Excursion.
