Shift kit on e40d

Shift kit on e40d

I have a 93 f-150 with an e40d tranny has anyone ever put a shift kit in theirs and if so what brand and model and do you like it.

B&M makes a shift improver kit that goes for about $35.oo, works for all e4od's, and gets good reviews.

Hmm, they don't seem to cover '93s. I'm considering one for my '94 F350, though....

The folks at Baumann Engineering have shift kits for the E4OD, and their site has a whole lot of info on E4ODs and all Ford trannies.

My E4OD is running a Banks Transcommand Module (not cheap) which works nicely for me and I installed it in an hour. See Bankspower.com
