bed liner for f150

I am looking to put a spray in bed liner in my 1994 f150 long bed. I was looking at 2 do it your self kits at auto zone today, One was herculiner and one was duplicolor. I was wondering if anyone has used either of these before and if they were worth the money or if it is better to spend more and have a rhino liner or somthing similar put on.

they fit over the lip to prevent leaks, mine had zero leaks and no rust at all. the bed looks brand new.

A spray in bedliner is infinitely better than a drop in plastic liner. I have had both, so I speak from my personal experience with both. Anything I had in the bed with the plastic liner would slide everywhere no matter how smoothly I drove. With my spray in liner, it takes a few more g's to get things to even move at all. Another plus with a spray in liner is that you can run a tonneau cover or a campershell if you ever wanted to, whereas with an over-the-rail plastic liner, that is impossible (at least it was with my Ford plastic drop-in). My spray in liner was done by Guardian Coatings, which is a local company (might not even be in business anymore). I really like the Line-X personally, but I won mine in a raffle, so I chose free over my preference. My girlfriend's father has a line-x in his truck and it is very good. Make sure that they strip the paint before applying the liner, otherwise it might do like mine and pull up the paint under the liner. Most of the spray in liners are lifetime warranted, so any chip or gouge you put in it can be repaired for free. In short, I would much rather have a spray in bedliner than a drop in plastic liner any day of the week, despite the additional cost.

it was in the truck when i bought it two years ago, i will have to look at brand tomorrow. when i took it out one it looks like it has been in the life of the truck. one of the things i like is that it has indentations to allow dividers to be put in to hold cargo. whatever you do will be cool.

My truck came with a over-the-rail dura-liner. It's fine, except I'd like to install some sort of tonneau cover, but the lip of the liner gets in the way. Something to consider if you don't go the spray-on route...

I have the 1 piece plastic deal. It's pretty nice, but I hate putting it in and takeing it out. I'd much rather have the spray-on Rhino liner.

Is it an under-the-rail liner? It would have been impossible for me to put a cap or a tonneau cover on my truck with the drop in I had, which was over-the-rail.
