odometer light very dim

odometer light very dim
I just noticed today that my odometer light isn't working very well. I called the dealer and he told me it's probably a bad bulb. He told me it would be $120 to fix. Does this sound fair?

if u have the time...this is a fairly inexpensive fix..just a couple bucks! pull out the whole instrument cluster..find the bulb type u need ahead of time..maybe be 2 types as were mine..in the back of the cluster there will be black ***** where the bulbs are..twist them out and the bulb comes with them...on my 2000 ex.. there were 2 bulb types they used that year..being unsure..i bought both types...should take a couple hours at most..
