odometer light

Hey guys, anyone know how the LCD for the odometer lights up on a 94? I looked at it and didn't see a bulb.

It's part of the PSOM....Programmable Speedometer Odometer Module. I assume yours is blank or just not lighting up with the dash lights? If it is the former check Fuse 18.

Bad PSOM is my guess. Could possibly be a bad connection to the PSOM but odd that only one function is affected.

For reference: What's a PSOM?

The illumination for the LCD is a single card-mounted wedge-based lamp just like all of the other indicators and backlights behind the PSOM. (I actually changed the color of the odometer for a while by using a blue LED retrofit lamp... alas, I took no pictures of it).
