Radiator installation question

Hello all! I am obviously new to the site. I come hear all the time to read threads. I just joined because this is the first time that I havent found help with what Im looking for. I am replacing my radiator but, the transmission cooler lines will not fit in the new radiator. I was advised to do two seperate things. The 1st was to find an adapter and the other was to file down the lines til they fit. I have an issue with both of these because I dont want to ruin my new radiator or my transmission lines. Does anyone have any insight as to what I should do??
Sorry if this is in the wrong "forum" But I am desperate!

The first choice would be to get the proper radiator.
Or you can just bypass the cooler inthe rad and install an external version.
