installing 2004 trans cooler into 99,
The 2004 trans cooler is 3 times the size of the 1999, would this be a good swap? The 04 has larger fittings, which should be less restriction. Anyone out there done this or have a professional opinion on this swap in an F350 diesel .. Thanks .

I haven't done it personally, but others have. The installation is supposed to be pretty easy. If you can get one cheaper than an aftermarket cooler, it'd probably be worth it. If not, I'd go with a big plate cooler from Hayden or Tru-cool.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe short term memory loss? Possibly Alzheimer's or even a minor concusion. I wonder if he has blurred vision, headaches, tttrembbbling hands, or dizziness. Might ought to see a physician about that problem...

Placed same thing in many different forums, just got carried away!!! The Ford unit 2004 is a plate type cooler, 19" wide x 17" long. Should just about cool anything.
