heated mirrors

When i have the a/c on in my truck it seems like the heated mirrors are on, does any one else have that trouble? While driving in the rain the other night with the a/c on the top mirror was warm and dry. It is a 2004 f 250

Some have installed switches to the heated mirrors, so they can switch them on only when they want them on, rather than having them on whenever the truck's running.

You mean by them being on whenever the truck's on? If so, then yep, I agree.... a good reason to install a switch to control them.
