OEM DVD player

I was thinking of adding the OEM DVD player to my 03 EB X but noticed while looking at some pics on eBay that the ones that have it DON'T have the middle A/C vent in the ceiling like mine does. So I guess I should scratch the idea?

I had noticed looking at my ceiling that it would probably be a tight fit between the rear of the sunroof and that middle vent - never thought that those equipped with the DVD from the factory wouldn't have that vent at all.

the dvd player was not a option if you had the sunroof.

I see them all over ebay w/sunroof and OEM DVD.

as far as i know in 03 you were unable to order them together.

when i bought my 03 it showed them as incompatable options.

My 03 has the sunroof and dvd, no middle air vent though.

my 03 EB also had the DVD and sunroof. I replaced the factory one for a larger one

When you replaced the OEM DVD unit, was it just power and aux lines into the head unit? Was everything else self contained? So, any after market unit could fit up there?
