removing passenger side airbag
How would I remove the passenger side airbag? I would eventually like to install a monitor into that spot. Is this something I could do myself or do I need to take it to the dealer?

I'm pretty sure no dealer will touch your truck when you ask them to take out the airbag, for obvious safety/legal reasons. Is this gonna be a show truck? A custom car audio shop would probably be your best option.

good luck finding any one to remove the bag. i need to get the air bag on my wifes explorer deactivated for when she drives it. she can even get a letter from the secretary of state and still no dealer will do it. ( the reason she shouldnt have one is she is only 4'11" and site to close to the steering wheel, if the bag goes off it will hurt more than it will help.)
