Hellwig airbags

Does anyone have any experience with the Hellwig air bags? I'm trying to decide between the Hellwig 6108 kit or the Airlift kit. I have heard good things about the Airlift, and I guess they improved the brackets to make them easier to install. The Hellwig bags have a bigger circumference, which from my basic research and understanding would mean they would give the same performance with less pressure.
Thank you for any info.

I reccommend the air lift airbags, used them on my 2005, and my 2011 ford, love them, they redesigned the 2011 new air bags to make them easier to install.....

The kits for the newer super duties have been redesigned for easier install.

Clearly I may have a slightly biased opinion, but I would recommend AirLift. One feature we do offer is a lifetime warranty on the kit and a no questions asked 60 day money back guarantee.

As for the size versus pressure question, a larger bag would provide a slight bit more support at a lower pressure. I don't know what this truly gets you in the end. I suppose at the end of the max pressure spectrum you could get slightly more load support, however our kits already provide up to 5000 lbs of extra support. This should be more than what your truck can really handle.

I would like to hear what others may have to say, particularly anyone who has the Hellwig's.

Mike - I thnk th ebenefit with the pressure capacity comes from the lower air pressure for a given load.

2000 pounds being supported by 50 psi or 2000 pounds being supported by 40-45 psi.

The ride has to be better with the lower pressure

I got the Firestone kit years ago by making a gut check decision, they were bigger than all the others and I felt that they were just s slightly scaled down version of the bags seen on big trucks and trailers. So, I thought that they would be a well made product that performed well.

They do perform very well and last longer than I would keep a truck.

I'm sure the airlift ones are great. Never seen anyone post anything about the hell wigs.
