rebuild questions...

How easy is it to find full rebuild kits for the 223s? Im looking at possibly rebuilding this motor for another go. Thanks.

Try PAW, I have ordered two kits from them and have been pleased. Took less than a week to get the parts and they have alot of kits for differant degrees of rebuild.

I've used PAW kits for 302's, but they don't list anything for a 223 that I can find

well i tlked to the machineist that has done all my dad and mine rebuilds and has kits on his books for $750. Then 400 for the machine work on the longblock. So it looks like i should have a new shiney 223 for my 64 in a few months
