In the course of my jacking around with the truck (which hasn't been much with the heat around here), I have noted something about the clutch. You may remember I posted earlier that it worked, but engaged very slowly; you can let it all the way out at once, and it seems to "let itself out," so to speak.
Last night I grabbed hold of the clutch pedal and realized that it wasn't all the way up even with the brake pedal; if I pull upward (backward) on it, it does line up. So, when at rest, it is about an inch or two pushed inward, until you manually pull it up with your hand.
What's the skinny, anybody? I am not even sure how to adjust the clutch on this kind of vehicle, as my only previous similar experience was on a VW (which is easy as pie).
What year truck do you have? It sounds like a motor or tranny mount that needs attention. Or, worn clutch linkage. That is, if you have a standard clutch linkage that goes directly from your pedal to your bellhousing. I had a 72' Ford F-700 that did the same thing. If you have a hydraulic clutch setup then things could be a little different. Please specify. Jake.
