I currently have a 2005 f250 5.4 gas and I am looking into buying a 2006 f250 6.0 diesel that I have found for a good price. I was wondering if someone would know if my plow wire harness will work with the 06 diesel? and if the frame is the same so I can use the same plow mounts. Thanks for the help!
You didn't say what brand snowplow you have. I went to the Meyers site, and they have a neat little routine where you plug in your old truck, and then plug in your new truck, and you can see if everything matches. Here's the link.
I plugged in your truck, and it looks like the frames and the mounts are the same. But they also want to know what type of headlights are on each truck. I purposely picked different headlights, and they show a different wiring setup.
