89 BII Push Button 4x4
hey there,
i have a 89 BII push button 4x4...i recently had the automatic hubs changed to manual ones... the problem is, sometimes the tranfer case will shift into 4x4 fine and comes out fine..but i've been having the problem of it not coming out of four wheel drive...somebody told me that cleaning the motor would do the trick. help?

Cleaning the shift motor will help if the shift motor is the reason it's not shifting back to 2H. I have also seen cases where, because the user was in 4H or 4L on a high traction surface, the shift motor/shift mechanism wasn't capable of overcoming the "windup" in the drivetrain.
