Will my 7.3 pull a sled?

I have conned a buddy I work with to pull also. He has a 97 7.3 5 speed with several mods. Injectors, Tymar, 4 inch exhaust, custom chip, etc. I was talking to him and he said he would pull if I would. So, I believe I will if the wifey doesnt cry too much. It would be hard to swallow if I tear it up.

Hey Dave now make sure an be gentle with your truck while your pullin. If you feel any jerkiness or bouncing with your truck let off dont let your male ego get in the way an push your truck to do some major damage. Its really just a matter of havin a good time an hopefully not doing any serious damage to your rig. Tell your buddy the same, Sounds like his truck is a pretty nice outfit. Have fun an let us know how it turns out.

Not to derail the thread, but I dont think that the suped up dodge at the end of the vid faired out so well. Look at the soot that came out in the end, looked like a turbo wheel went up and out of the stacks.

I also noticed one very important fact.
Highway slicks just don't cut the mustard (I.E. Stocker firestones).
Maybe you cold find some elcheapo mudders and some rims.
