Since I'm no longer deconstructing the truck I'd thought I'd start a new thread. The cab is bolted on and I've the passenger door on. Now I basically have to order parts and put it together. Updates will be slower since I start work on monday. You guys probally could careless what I've done to the truck but I'll keep posting thinking you care.
Hey 51dueller, what gives you that idea? You are working on a Mercury truck not? (it is almost as good as a Ford you know) so we do care and need you to get it on the road soon. It is interesting to follow your progress along if you keep us posted. Keep it up and get into town with it soon. Where are you starting work? (You guys probally could careless what I've done to the truck but I'll keep posting thinking you care. [/QUOTE])
I got a job at the MF dealer in town. The owner a neighbor (close as you can be in rural Sask) and a friend. I've installed the radio antenna and in the progress of installing the gas tank. I'm waiting for the glue to dry on the rubber insolators at this moment.

Way to go, keep it up on your truck. Congrates on your job!
Gas tank is in. I thought it was pretty much empty but found just under 5 gallons in it. Got the drivers door on it. Those door pins were a pain in the .
The price of progress, at least you are going in the rite direction. These 5 gallons of gas at today`s price is a nice bonus. That`s almost $22 before income tax or with income tax figure almost $29!
Well I haven't done to much to the truck other than disassemble the doors and paint them. When I get my paycheck next week I'll get the windows cut and order the rest of the weather striping.
I was thinking of speedy glass. The front is $80 and the rear is $65. I plan on getting the vent windows done too.
I`ll try to remember to check to see if I can get a better price for you if you can give the sizes. Don`t think that will happen but it is worth a try. How is the rubber?
I got them from the Old Car Centre in BC. The front was $52.95 and the rear was $35.95.
Good price on the rubber. I think that I can get the front window cut/supplied for about $55, not laminated but a better grade of saftey glass and the rear window for even less because it is smaller and only laminate. Let me know what you think and when you need the glass. Coming to THE Super Run????????? What day & time?
