98 f150 basic 134a recharge question.
So the ac on my 98 nascar isn't what it used to be. Its not warm, it just blows cool and not cold, and you need to keep it on max ac high non stop.
So I picked up a 19 dollar recharge deal and a guage at walmart.
I attached the guage to the service port, and i'm getting 0psi.
I thought it wasn't on there but indeed its on there properly.
So I pumped a couple shots of refrigerant into the system to see if i could get the pressure to rise, and nope its not rising.
Have you guys had bad luck with these aerosol can deals with guages attached to the bottle?
It was a 19 dollar item, but i'm kinda ticked that its not measuring properly. Also I'm afraid of overcharging the system so I didn't just blindly pump refrigerant into it.

i was charging the wrong side, i was charging the low pressure fitting. Got it, its fine.
the low pressure side is the side to charge from. the ports are different size and it will prevent you from even doing it. so what did you do?
