Intermittent check engine light?
Its a 94 with a 3.0. The check engine light comes on once in a while while driving. It won't light till about 15 minutes after starting then driving. If the engine is shut off and restarted the light doesn't come on again till it is driven for 5-10 minutes. Somtimes the light goes out after it is on for only a few minutes.

o2 sensors, 20 bucks on it. you can go to wal mart and buy a cheap code reader for 25 bucks, or you can look at the tech info on the top of the ranger board, and using a jumper wire you can get your check engine light to flash the codes. Any decrease in performance/gas mileage?

Start by pulling the codes, you don't need a scanner to pull them on your '94 with EEC-IV, all you need to do is jumper the test connectors under the hood and watch the CEL blink:
