1997 460 Chip or tuner?
I have just purchased a 97 F-250 cc,sb, 4x4. I am interested in getting a tuner if there are any available (mostly what I am finding is diesels and newer gas) Does anyone have any experience or opinions as to a good one, or if I have to go with a chip?? Thanks....

I have a diagnostic reader, so that is not a concern. Can you not adjust the speedo (for oversize tires) and the tranny shift points? The tranny would be something I would like to do, as it seems to shift at the wrong time while towing, I know banks and a few others make a tranny controller that I could add seperately I guess. Thanks.

tire size changes are handled through reprogramming the cluster, rather than the EEC.
