Question before I buy

Hey Everyone,

I'm buying a 05 xlt cc 4x4 with an automatic tomorrow and I noticed something on the test drive tonight. I stopped on a hill and when I let off the brake the truck started to roll back down the hill. Is this a characteristic of a diesel? Is this an issue with the transmission? Just curious before I bite the bullet.

Characteristic of a diesel? Depending on the hill grade, I'd say it's characteristic of all cars/trucks.

I think that the 4 wheel disk brakes roll back a little more than rear drum before setting. Might this be what you experienced?

So very true. Some vehicles will be "worse" than others.
