Hey all, I'm brand new to this board and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Denise and I'm from Sacramento, CA. I have a 2004 F150 Supercrew FX4 and I LOVE it. Never thought I'd say that about a Ford as I've always been a Chevy & Toyota fan.
I've done both extremes with trucks. I started off buying my first truck, an '87 Toyota 2wd and lowered it (I swear it was cool back in the day). A couple of years later sold it and bought an '84 Toyota 4x4 and lifted it. I'm definitely a 4wheelin' kinda chick.
Anyway, not going to bore you anymore with my chatter but wanted to warn y'all that I may be asking a lot of questions and probably really stupid ones. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to old school vehicles (straight axel, carb.... etc) but when it gets to this new computer crap, I know NADA! So any advice you guys can offer is going to be GREATLY appreciated!
Welcome aboard! Glad you found your way here.
What part of Sacramento are you from? I grew up in the Lodi/Galt area and was stationed at Mather/McClellan for several years.
1) learn how to use the ADVANCED SEARCH in this forum (make sure you search just this forum for 04/05 F150 info). Almost everything has already been asked/answered, so searching first is best. After that, post away with any questions, etc.
