Hi, We live in Savannah, Georgia and are searching for someone to restore our 52 Ford Pickup. My husband wants to do some " off frame" work (?) and make the truck more road ready with disc brakes etc. I am not sure of all of the details but I do know that he wants to use it on a regular basis. Do you know of anyone near or around the Savannah/Charleston/Jacksonville area that does this type of work? There is a guy in Statesboro that he has talked to and he does great work, BUT, he won't call us back and we would like someone who can do it now. I
dparker60 welcome to FTE and the Georgia chapter! I don't have a clue as to who could do a frame up resto for ya but I'm sure someone will be along who can point ya in the right direction. Also check out the October Fest thread, we are getting together Oct 2nd at High Falls State Park if you and the hubby can make it.
Thanks for the info regarding the get together in High Falls. I will pass it on to my husband. Please keep your eyes and ears open for someone to re-do his truck. I think he is anxious to get it on the road. It belonged to his grandfather (who bought it new) and he has all of the original documentation, sales receipts, etc. It has a lot of sentimental value for him
Have a great day...who knows, we may see you in October.
