windshield wipers
this is kind of stupid. but i cant get the old wipers off my truck.
1979 F-250 SuperCab. They appear to be original. They will kind of slightly move around on the arm so i dont think they are "froze" there. I just am not sure how to extract them.
anybody have any idea?

I used a piece of old coathanger bent like a J to release the retaining clip that is under the wiper arm right by the splined part that comes out of the wiper cowl, it's almost impossible to see but will be obvious after it is off. it is inline with the rest of the arm. Another thing that helps is to take the tension off the spring loaded arm so it doesn't **** on the shaft while you are trying to remove it. Best of luck!
