16x8 fit?

16x8 fit?
Will 16-in wheels fit a 1999 Off-Road that came with 17-in wheels? The truck has four-wheel disc brakes, and my concern is whether or not the 16's will clear the caliper's. I am considering 16x8's with 285/75R16's. Thanks.

I have 16x8's with the same size tires on mine and all I had to do was trim the plastic mud flaps in the front fender wells. No clearance problems for me.
