Wanted

hey, im looking to upgrade to a bigger truck, i want to keep the same year, i currently have a 1989 f-150, and i want a full bed 4dr, i see them running around every once in a while, but i never get close enough to see what style they are, ive been looking around and noticed that the newer 4 door f-series are called "SuperCrew", i was wondering if anyone knows if they had a different style-name back in the 80's...

Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure that in the 80's a 2-d 2-seat was an extended cab and a 4-d 2-seat was a "Crew Cab".

A friend of mine has one and he calls it a crew cab. Don't know if this is the actually name or not but for most part I think you will find most poeple calling them supercrew now just because of the newer trucks. Of course if you run into an old timer I'm sure he will set you straight.

I did a quick search on them and it looks like they are called "Crew Cabs" and are 250s and 350s. Could be wrong though.

There is a 4dr crew cab version of the F150 in the 97 year range. Theres one in the parking lot here at work everyday

and I WANT it hehehe

He beats me out so I'll have to check to see if I can find some kind of style on it monday.

I think only F-350's had crew cab option before '97.

As far as I know, crew cabs (two full sets of doors on each side) were very very rare in our generation. I believe they were only for the F-350s with 460s or diesels. I mostly see them at track events or shows.

They also have the Centurion Bronco that is basically a bronco stretched to 4 full doors instead of 2, but thats aftermarket not Ford's doing.

I like my supercab, but wish it had those 1/2 doors. I might look into making them doors
