ABS light

have a 99 f150 v6. Recently I have had an ABS light with clicking noise when applying brakes, seems to be getting worse, especially when it rains.
Any idea on what it is?

Are you sure the clicking noise isn't the ABS pump? I had this problem on a 90 Continental and it turned out to be a bad wheel sensor. You are going to have to get any error code(s) scanned from the ABS system to determine the problem. Used to be you could use the pre OBDII scanners to scan codes from the ABS system but on a 99 probably requires an OBDII or specialized scanner. You might try and go aound to each wheel and check the connection at the wheel sensor and do the same at the ABS module, pump, etc. Especially since it seems to be affected by when it rains.

Well it happened again today! It sounds like the clicking sound is coming from under the hood, in front of the drivers side dash! When it clicks the brake pedal pulsates!
