I am curious to see who out there enjoyes the old art of karate and what style you practice. I myself was into lifting weights for a long time and personally did not think I could get a good workout dancing around in a Dojo. I was wrong. Working out in a Dojo is much more difficult and challenging than just lifting.
I met my karate instructor at the gym and he bothered me until I agreed to take lessons from him. Most of the time it is just me and him working out. I do not feel that I am good at karate, but I do enjoy it and am in better shape.
My son took judo training and now his son is in his 3rd year of karate. I am impressed not only with the physical benefits, but also with the discipline.
