How about a guy jumping off a bridge. Sorry, I'm not the right person to ask the question. I don't do marriage well. Actually I stink at it.

Whatever you pick it should be romantic and memorable. Women want romance. They read romance books all their life and think it is the way to go.

How about a knight on a white horse coming for his bride? It's enough to make me gag, but women might like it.

I better quit here. I was never issued my romance ration. No one should ever listen to me about women. Unless you want to be single.

Good luck with the coming event.

for our wedding my wife and i bought a bunch glass bowls with metal wire stands (i think at pier one) we then filled them about 1/2 way with some colored glass stones then filled them with water and put some floating candles in them. we also bought a bunch of 12"x12" mirrors (the kind you use to make a mirror wall) and put the bowls on the mirrors on each table.

Ah. . . where else than a site for truck enthusiasts. . . . .

The perfect centerpiece:

The brake drum(s) from your latest brake job.
Clean with Brakleen. Oil lightly.
Set in the middle of the table (making a bowl), with a note that says,
"Deposit Keys Here!"

Now, when the party begins, you will be able to party knowing that all car and truck keys will be in one safe place!!!
PARTY ON!!!!!

We went to a local resteraunt supply here in town and got an ice mold. It was a bride and groom, we just filled it with water and put it in the deep freeze... give yourself plenty of time to cut it out though, and a very sharp knife. I put it on a large platter and broke up some chunks of ice around the base... it looked very nice.

How about that.... this was post #500 Woohoo!!!

I'm getting married this Sept. My fiancee owns a ceramic business and she made a bride and groom bear for our centre piece.
So have a check with some ceramic places and see what they can make that would be different and can also be used as a decorative piece around the house afterwards.
If you do this just give them a week or two make the piece.

My niece just married a couple of weeks ago. The "topper" on the wedding cake was a figurine of the groom trying to run away while the bride hung onto his shoulders. It was kinda humorous, but didn't go over well with the traditionalists in family.

sorry...I guess that doesn't help much, does it? But it WAS funny...
