The motor uses bushings at each end. There is a pre oiled felt wick at each end that dries up. When it goes dry and starts acting up you can find the top of the motor and drill a small hole there just big enough to get a squirt can into. They don't need much oil. Usually it fixes them if it wasn't ran too long dry. Not a real good picture but you can see the hole, just make sure when you drill one your drilling at it's top.
