Over head console?
Hey i just bought one of the digital little plastic oem consoles that went into some of the later model broncs.
My question is, i'm putting it into my 93, which is the same roof and all, but what kind of sensors and stuff will i need to make it functional?
i'm not too worried about power, thats easy enough, and i can make a harness for it, but are the sensors for temp and direction built into it or are they located somewhere else and where do i get them?

Massey I put the Bronco overhead console in my 94 xlt last year. If the overhead console was available in 93. The wiring for the temp. sensor is already ran, you just need to buy the sensor for the outside temp.The sensor is located behind the driver side headlight. You will find a two wire connector with a plug in the connector pull the plug and install the sensor. Ford don't sell the wiring harness for the overhead console any more. But you can buy the wiring harness for the power mirror and sun visors for like $30.00ea.The harness has the correct end to plug into the Bronco's harness for the console so I bought two wiring harness and add the extra wires for the console from the extra harness. It's a bear to plug the harness in, the plug is located behind the drivers side kick panel behind the emergency brake bracket. Hope this helps.
