Center console - 2000 explorer

I'm looking to replace my center console between the front bucket seats. I'm having a difficult time finding a console that will fit as there's only about 7" between seats. Any ideas? Thanks.

How about a junk yard? Just about any year console (except for the 2002 +) will fit, especially '95 to '01. Heck, Ranger consoles may fit as well.

I should have been more descriptive in my post. I was leaning towards getting a different type of console, one not made by Ford, that had more bells and whistles...and fit!

I will turn to junk yards/ebay for a Ford Explorer console if I'm not successful above.
