I have a 1998 E350 with a V10, it's been great but now it's blowing plugs out of the head on a regular basis.
After reading about the same problem from what seems many other people I'm wanting to replace the V10 with another engine. Has anyone had some experience with an engine swap for these- what are the hidden problems I'll be facing. Any help or input would be great

welcome to FTe.take a look down in the v10 area.and do a site search on blowing plugs. there was a cylinder head redesign around 2000 or 02 with more threads holding in the plugs. the biggest problem starts when the plugs are changed and not put back in with a torqe wrench. then they are to loose or over tightened and the threads are pulled .
again by doing a search you will find the posts that have the link to the companys making head repair kits that work even thou ford says change and up date the cylinder heads. good luck.
