Intermittent power sterring
Every once in awhile like once every 2 weeks to a month my power steering will just stop for a second, now i have a leak coming out one hose, and am not sure if the loss of pressure from that would cause this, or is it possible that the belt is slipping?

It could be one of several possibilities. Low on fluid, belt slipping, pump going out, hose coming apart inside, chunks of bad hose plugging up gear box or pump. Replace the bad hose and flush the fluid, then see how that affects it.
