i had an unfortinate accident last nite hit a dear at 65 messed up the whole front clip just glad i have extra clip what i dont have is an extra radiator the one i had was just out of my junk pile i need to know about what year,make,model.ect. radiator to look for to keep the beast cool its a 65 f1002wd w/warmed up 60 on n.o.s.
Ouch!
Sorry to hear about that collision. . . .
I'm using one from a 77 F-250 Trailer Special with a 460 & A/T cooler. It's the 4 row HD model and it took a little massaging of holes to get it in there. I have seen this same 4 row HD radiator in all kinds of 73-79 applications [Camper & Trailer specials & other HD Set Ups] had one in a 73 F-250 Camper special with an FE too.
So my answer is 73-79 F-250 & F-350 models w/ heavy duty options are good sources for 4 row HD radiators. I also run a closed overflow recapture system on mine. It has a closed system radiator cap & a recapture reservoir to hold coolant that overflows, but can be drawn from for return of coolant to system later.
