squeaking noise help..
I have a squeaking noise coming from the front end of my expy every time I hit a bump.. it's driving me nuts! anyone have any idea's on what it is or any idea's? thanks for any info!

i just had the same thing looked at. More of a creaking/squeaking noise more dominant on the driver side. I thought it was the upper arm bushings.
Ford Dealer diagnosed, and it was the upper arms, as well as lower Ball joints.
$950 ouch....i think im going to try and tackle it myself, this weekend.
I hope yours is an easier fix.

wow 950 just for that?! I just rebuild my entire rear for 500 bucks!
I'm going to try a few different things.. how much did they charge you to diagnose your truck? I would like to have them do that and fix it myself.. Luckily my friend works as a mechanic at a ray catena porshe service center and they let us work on my truck whenever we have to fix it.

well it was the dealership, and they also wanted to put new pads on my rear brakes and turn the rotors for $280. ha, they told me to do it now or next week the pads would go, and it would be $480 to replace the rotors. needless to say i swapped the discs and pads for brembo's and did it all in 30 min for $180.
generally the charge to inspect it is $40, but i had em change the oil so it was only $20.
I do know sears or other places will do it for less or free even.
