Hello All
Just joined FTE the other day and have been finding neat little things since. I found the local forum and thought I would say hi. HI.
I have 52 f1 with a flathead v8 that I picked up a little over a month ago. I am still working on getting all the galleries and stuff setup to show it off.
So, Hi to all and looking forward to making full use of this site.

Howdy Blue52f1. Good to have you here at FTE. I hope you stick around and find the site as useful as you can. I'm north of you by about 35 minutes. I guess to me that isn't a whole lot. I through Otsego on my way to work every day. Probably until they have the freeway down to one lane in each direction.

Otsego? Man, that town has changed! My neighbor's son built a house out there a few years back, and when I was out there just a coupla weeks ago to check his A/C I hardly recognized the place.

Hahaha (I just thought of this...) Just you guys wait until Cabela's opens up, and you'll wish you lived on my side of Rogers!

Yeah, Rogers is going to get ridiculous when that place opens up. I have heard rumors that they are going to make an exit ramp at the 101 bridge over 94 where it meets up with 81 in Dayton. Nothing like adding some more traffic to 94 in that area. The drive through there sucks bad enough.
So anyways. Sometime in September (I think the 17th) the City of Otsego is having a car show. Anyone heard of it and/or going to it?

lol i use to live at the moble home park right off of 81 right there were 101 hits 81 about 6-7yrs ago glad i moved that placed sucked. now im in a nice home with a town that is growing to fast we have 150 home going up this summer and next. and to boot with that there are going to be adding around 200 home after the 150 go up so in about 3yrs this place will be to much like the city for me. i live in glencoe about an hour or so from the citys. blue let me know when the car show is soi can make it to it

My wife is from Glencoe, and her folks still live on Judd Ave (Street?). If they are building that many new homes out there it's no wonder my in-laws place has doubled in value over the last 7 years.
Prices for homes are absolutely nuts around here.

Homes are going up everywhere. It doesn't seem to matter where you live, it's all going to be a city within a few years anyway.
Glencoe is a nice area. I went to Ridgewater in Hutch from 98-2000 and I have relatives in Winstead. And of course we make it out there every year for Winstock. Always a good time.
I will find out when that car show is and let everyone know.
