The motor runs but the regulator does not move. Took apart the drive and discovered the three nylon ***** in the pinion assembly were shreaded to dust. No problem, just visit those friendly Ford folks and buy three new nylon ***** ----- not !! They only sell the whole drive assembly (mostly plastic) for a mere $84.00. Gotta be bagin me. Anybody know of an alternate aftermarket source for these @#%// little nylon boogers ????

There is a brand of auto parts by MotorMite called
HELP! You'll have to get the guy to look in the catalog very carefuuly to see if a kit is available to repair it.If not, there line of rebuilt window motors should offer it, but there again, you gotta look in the book very carefully as they are listed seperately from the motors. If all that fails, some transmissions use nylon ball bearings as check *****, and, you can always get metal ball bearings.

You could go to most of the wrecking yards, they carrier the repair kit, a new gear and ***** for the window motor, we sell them at our store for about $20.00.

Went down to the old Valparaiso, FL Carquest where for the sum of $27.00, they had a gear repair kit in stock. Works great. Thanx for all the comments.
