Hi gang,
A farmer friend has a 1941 Ford 8N tractor. After 15 years of sitting, he finally decides to get it running. Anyone know anything about them or a web site for them?
There are many good sites for old tractors. Just search "tractors" and you'll find them all. That is a great old tractor, and you'll find many forums on it. Good Luck.
Thanks for the tips. The ford8n.com seemed to be the best. Why didn't I think of searching that?
I'm hoping to get a crack at helping fix this thing. Hydraulics are pretty beat but it could be an intresting challange.
Walter,
You'll have a lot of fun with the tractor - I'm sure you know they are just half of the V8 and the changes in model designations came roughly the same time as those in the V8's. Its been a while since I saw the specs, but if I remember right the bore sizes are the same and knowing Ford's use of parts in multiple applications, probably quite a few parts are the same.
Be sure to check out this link if you haven't found it on your own - http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-bin/ntracz.pl?m=fordn
Good luck with it. - tim
