Err, Birdhunter - just try very hard not to store car stuff in the laundry room, or vice versa, "K"? Trust me...
25' huh? Thats a step-ladder job. If the stump is left high (about eight or ten feet minimum) a cable reel puller (what we used to call a 'come-along') might be able to lay the trunk over. Better yet if you can get a pickup truck back there, or alongside the house to where you can attach a rope or chain.
I don't see much difficulty in that...
I just meant that we have a holly tree in the backyard. Not going to cut it down.
Impossible to get any vehicle back there anyways.
You can measure the distance between the houses with a micrometer.
These lots measure only 25'X95'. Big, ain't it? LOL.
I think I remember some places like that, yeah. Count your blessings tho -
It's a lot easier to mow a postage stamp than a half acre. And looking out the window earlier, I see my war with the Johnson Grass is far from over.
Oh, and Bird:
Sometime once I get my act back together and running smooth (like it was before I married IT) we'll have to take a trip together to some open land somewhere. There are a few things I always wanted to check out personally - but from a distance if you know what I mean. Could be interesting...

Just email the ideas, the safety precautions and the directions to me, I'll test them out for ya, videotape it and we'll search for ways to improve the idea.
cost me 600 bucks to have an old 80ft elm cut down a few years ago, it had died and was hanging over my property, as stated b4 if the tree falls by a storm then it's an act of god, unless the tree is dead or diseased then it's the owners fault.
