Cool E-bay Transaction
My next-door neighbors wanted to get rid of their above-ground pool. He was going to put an ad in the paper under the "take it away free" section. I convinced him to let me post it on E-bay for him. He told me that I could keep anything over a hundred bucks. If it sold for under $100 we would split it 50/50.
Anyway...the pool sold for $905.00!!!
The best part was my neighbor was really happy for me. He was thrilled to just have the pool gone.
Now if I could just sell enough of other people's crap for them, I could quit my job!

wooo, good luck on getting rid of that contraption. hopefully the high bidder was one of the faithful ones that really wanted the item, not some foolio that was just bidding on a pool and hoping to stir up trouble. Good for you though! I hope all ends well for an easy earned 800 bucks!

Actually, there are a couple companies in our area who sell peoples stuff on ebay, on consignment like you did. They charge a percentage of the take, and it saves time and aggro for the folks with the stuff. Go for it!
