Well, I did a search, but I'm not sure exactly what my problem is.
The truck: '04 CC FX4, 40,260 miles. Bone stock.
The load: About 4500 lbs. Nothing too serious.
The problem: While towing my boat yesterday, it would hesitate while going over hills. Kind of like a hiccup, one to three times per hill. I stopped counting "hiccups" after 12, because I was getting more displeased with each one. I figured my blood pressure needed the relief. It did not throw a code, and I couldn't get it to misbehave on flat ground.
Drove that same route/same load last weekend without a problem. Actually, up to this point the truck has been trouble-free. I hope this is a simple fix. EBP valve?
Thanks! I'll have it checked out and report back what they find.
I think my VIN is in the recall zone anyway, so I guess a trip back to the shop is in order regardless. I honestly haven't had a lick of problems up to this point.
