oxygen sensor not ready
oxygen sensor heater not ready
i have gone to a dealer and they said it should set but simply driving it
well 5 days later 50 miles a day no change
HELP!!!!!
I looked at the diagram, and there is a fuse #19, 20 amp in the fuse box under the hood. I don't know if this is the problem though, since it also feeds something on the tranny and the EGR on the engine. So if it was blown, you should have some other errors too. If you can't find a fuse blown, I would follow the exhaust pipes down from the engine, till you see a sensor screwed into the pipe. Check the wiring to make sure it's in good shape. You should have a sensor for each side of the engine. The red/yellow and red/white wires feed the heater on one side, and a red/yellow and yellow/lightblue wires feed the other side. The other wires in the sensor send the air to fuel info to the computer. But the sensor has to be hot enough, or it won't work.
i had a problem with my o2 sensors earlyer this year the ford dealer found broken wires in the wiring harness and "repaired it".
i think they sodered the wires backwards.
well talking to a different dealer i have to go back to the first dealer for any type of warrantee......... so i'll let you know how this ends
