Well, ok Bob... Since ND opened right up with the magic word "CUSTOM" he gets to share in the awe and admiration and yes, envy of all those on the forum who are frightened by the word "darkside"... intimidated by the strength of the force and even... though they will hardly admit it... afraid of making their own choices in how their trucks will look... their only salvation is that they build some true beauties...just like Henry...but lots better...
you also get to be ribbed beyond belief if you make a simple decision AND THEN CHANGE YOUR MIND !!!

Make yourself at home, ND. check out the articles section for some techie stuff... go straight to MOTORHAVEN (do not pass GO) and purchase a shop manual for your truck... it will help . Jump in when you can and add or subtract from the discussions... we like it all... lots of tongues planted firmly in cheek here...it won't take you long to fit right in.. 'specially if you throw around that 'custom' word

well i got to tear into this weekend. i have the doors and hood and seat off the truck. i unbolted 2 bolts and the tailgate fell off.
i actally got alot of work done considering i only have an 18 piece metric tool set (6 pieces missing). and a 2 dollar hammer (which i broke)
it seems the whole bottom of the cab has some pretty extensive cancer
but i did get to read a newspaper clip from aug 1st 1962

Hi Paul, Good luck with your project. I'm only a couple steps ahead of you with my 54 frame-off, sporting its orig. 239. I'm going for old school looks and a combo of original and modern comforts and gadgets!
Just remember...Welder + Wrenches + Imagination = Tons of Fun !!!
