vin location

Struck gold !!!
Ive had the truck for 7 plus years and found out that the vin didn't match the title about a year ago. The license plate (according to the Insurance office) said that it was a 3/4 , got me wondering. The vin on the title matches the frame ,(yyeesss) but not the glove box. Don't know what to think about the license plate. Thanks for the quick response

Does the truck have a plate on the firewall that year? If the frame matches the title I would get a new tag for the glovebox.
