you can get them straight from ford too, not to bad, i think about 10-15 bucks per injector, specials tools, i recommend readinga write up on pulling injectors before you do it, its not hard, but you can hyrdolock the motor if you do it wrong.

thanks, i ask this because for about a week now my truck has been blowing white smoke. i just had a noisey injector replaced and i was hoping that is where the smoke was coming from but i was wrong. the truck runs great but it smokes under hard accelaration from a stop, blows puffs of smoke under braking, and even blows smoke while just cruising. the thing that is weird is that it puffs a lot of smoke then it goes away and then it puffs smoke again(with in a few seconds). this truck has me confused. does this sound like bad o-rings to you?
Once you get the injector out, immediately stuff a shop rag in the hole. After you instal the new O-rings and get the injector instaled turn the motor over by hand, useing a socket and ratchet on the crank. If you encounter a point that seems as the engine is locked up continue to apply presure untill it free's up. Continueing rotating the engine untill you can make 2 complete revolutions without it hanging up.
coolant runs across the injectors as the engine is runing. When you remove an injector coolant will leak into the cylinder. Thats why you need to stuf a rag in the injector hole as soon as the injector comes out.
By turning the crank over you are forceing the coolant that has gotten into the cylinder, into the exaust. So when you start the motor expect it to smoke some when you first start it up. You may even have to drive it a couple of miles before it stops smokeing
