I'm tired of watching them do the same old same old. The jump, crush the cars, spin around. I don't even find the racing interesting anymore. You've seen one show, you've seen them all. They can't get much speed in the coliseums and it looks dangerous confined in there any ways. Rarely if ever do you see a mud bog which would be much more interesting. Can't they think of anything else to do ?
For anyone who gets bored quickly with monster trucks I'd suggest getting the Monster Jam World Finals DVD's. Also buy the Crash Madness series. They take it to a whole new level and it's insane, more like a demolition derby than anything. Pro and I are going to watch it next year.
ill have to disagree with ya on this one. ive never been to a show but whenever i see it on tv i watch monster jam. i think its awesome! its a huge truck with insane power! what else could you want. and yes, the michigan rednecks video is awesome! makes me wish my parents never left michigan!
The one thing about monster jam is that it will be setup (like who they want to win)sometimes and thus you can't see how the others can truely perform.
And also it depends on venue on what they do a small venue and it will be limited cause they don't want to break anything on there trucks and this came from Amber Skywalker who drives the #29 Kid Rock truck in a conversation we had a couple of years ago at the Nebraska State Fair where she was performing along with her Boss Paul Shafer and a few other's.
Mark, next show bust in there with your truck and give those monster trucks a run for their money. I've found its MUCH more fun to be a participant than a spectator. Besides, its sure to be an adrenaline rush as you're racing around trying not to get crushed

I call BS on this one. ALL the trucks on the circuit are owned by Clear Channel so it doesn't make a difference to them who wins. If the same 4 guys are winning every time perhaps it's because they are the best drivers and have the best built equipment. If Tiger Woods wins tournament after tournament it doesn't mean the game is rigged. It might just mean he's damn good at what he does.
I didn't know Tiger Woods had a monster truck. I gotta get out more often, or at least watch some TV. I have to agree with Mark, from what I've seen (not much) it's pretty lame. I could go for some variety and displays that show all their hp being put to some use (like NHRA). But I know that's why they still make chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.
Dang, I can't get a clip uploaded from my DVD. In Vegas the freestyle course is insanely huge and they stack shipping containers, motor homes, have rock pyramids, etc. It's good entertainment watching trucks catch 30 feet of air off the rocks or run full speed into a shipping container to knock another truck off of it. If only they'd mount spikes on the front.
