OK, just shy of 100k (99,034) I need a new manifold, So I have decided to go with shorty headers. I have a 94 F-150 4x4, 302 w/ EAOD. Reg cab, LB. The muffler looks like it will rust thru shortly. Does anyone make a Dual exhaust system for this? Or do I have to go with only a Cat back system? Who makes the best on at a decent price? I'd like to eliminate the Cat if possible, or at least gut it out. Comments?
I noticed a true dual exhaust system for a 91 f-150 in my LMC catalogue (www.lmctruck.com). I don't know if its the same for a '94.
Cost was approx. $190-230 depending on what mufflers you choose. It is true duals ( not a Y-pipe) and both pipes run down the passenger side, then cross and exit behind the rear wheels. I am currently replacing an engine in my '86 F-150 and plan on ordering this exhaust. Of course without catalitic converters it is advertised as an "off road" exhaust.
